These are the items you have bought for our school…

Thank you so much for your generous donations so far – but Warnham CE Primary School still needs your help!

We have had an overwhelming response to our new wishlist for which we are so grateful but there are many more items available for donation if you are able and haven’t done so already.

These are exceptionally difficult times for all schools and Warnham is no different, having experienced the loss of a specialist teacher due to funding cuts. As you can see here, these cuts have filtered down to all aspects of school life.

Parents and carers already give huge support through our PTFA fundraising efforts.

However, we can also provide material items that will improve and enhance the children’s school experience.  These may be as basic as glue sticks and exercise books – although you will see some iPad Minis on the wishlist as well!

Another way to help the school would be to offer your time. If you have specialist skills such as gardening, plumbing or carpentry, for example or would just like to donate your time more generally, please email the school office at office@warnhamprimary.co.uk. We would love to hear from you.

Thank you very much again.

Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Please add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Warnham School Wishlist to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Warnham School Wishlist we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

Thank you.
Warnham CE Primary School

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Warnham School Wishlist to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Warnham School Wishlist will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Warnham School Wishlist receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

We need your time!!

We are always looking for people who can help around the school.
Can you help with gardening? One to one reading with the children? How are your handyman / handywoman skills?

We would also love to know of anyone who has contacts in printing and catering or any other skills useful to our fundraising activities. And of course hands-on help at our events is invaluable!

Any time you can give the school will be hugely appreciated. Please email us to let us know you can help: warnhamptfa@gmail.com

Thank you to these businesses who have kindly donated towards our school wishlist!
